Stemming from fruit of physalis (called pok-pok by the Malagasy), this extra jam come from Madagascar offers an high taste with her 70% of fruits recipe.
The the pok-pok is sweety and have a bit slight acid, but the pok pok jam is rather sweety. The pok-pok is called "Love in cage" too.
In France, the physalis is essentially used for recipes decoration. But the Malagasy eat it all day long and send it on side of the road. The pok-pok is a very energizing fruit if you suffer of hypoglycemia during your trip.... Tested and approved !
